This past Memorial Day members of your Friendswood Volunteer Fire Department participated in the Murph Challenge https://themurphchallenge.com

This event saw firefighters, EMS personnel, Support, as well as family members join in to honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice in order to preserve the freedoms that we enjoy today. The Murph Challenge is an annual fundraiser for the Lt. Michael P. Murphy Scholarship Foundation and honors the Navy SEAL and Medal of Honor Recipient.

The day was made extra special with donations from Stone Cold Meats, Katie's Seafood, Cole Gordon Foundation supporting public safety and vets, and the veterans at Karbach Brewery.

Members of your Friendswood Volunteer Fire Department participate in many challenging fundraiser events as a way to honor others as well as challenge and improve their physical conditioning.
