It is with great sadness that Friendswood VFD EMS mourns the sudden passing of our Medical Director, Oscar Boultinghouse.

Dr. Boultinghouse served as Medical Director of Friendswood VFD EMS since 2005, the City of La Porte EMS since 1997, and First Responder agencies City of La Porte Fire Department since 2002 and Port of Houston Fire Department since 2020.

Dr. Boultinghouse was a kind and gentle person, admired by so many. He always left us with this statement – “Always be humble and kind”.

We will continue to honor him each day for his dedication to the prehospital care of patients.
He has left the earthly world and we rejoice on his arrival at his Heavenly home.
